This was perhaps our biggest decision!!! We
wanted to give our participants and visitors the true "back in time"
experience, and location is a huge part of that. Thankfully a local
retired farmer has shown us the perfect spot for our annual event. Located
near what was once Pigeon Town (very close to the actual site where Simon
Kenton ran his first gauntlet), we are on ground that has witnessed our
Nation's birth. Secluded in a serene, shaded woods with maintained, mowed
paths and natural water, we await your company.
The vendors area is at the clearing at the entrance (visitors' only way in AND out). Scattered about are various camp sites for those wishing to be alone. The Pines is the camp site for our range officers near the practice targets. Further in , next to the pond is a restored building called "Pigeon Trading Post" for services and gatherings. A clearing surrounded by trees form the first camp site called "Two Rocks" and a larger, more shaded area behind called "Majestic Oaks" borders Stony Creek offering a secluded, primitive experience. We are unable to find words to describe its beauty, but invite you to stay a spell to see for yourself.
The address of the farm is 3702 Township Road 30 West, West Liberty, Ohio 43357. From the Cleveland:
